For this project, I make biographical works art using anthropological research methods. Each piece focuses on important issues or events in the life of my interlocutor.  I record  life histories and do participant observation- a process that anthropologist Clifford Geertz aptly called "deep hanging out."  I get to know the places and people in the life of the person for whom I make the art. She participates in  selecting the  media, color or the dimensions  of the work and  at the end pf our work together, she receives the product of the exchanges.
