It seemed fitting that a book whose chapters explore designs for connecting art and scholarship should end with a work that not only sums up but includes diverse media. "Conclusion" mingles pages from the from the text with photograph of me, paint and poppy seeds in swirls that echo the three "waves" of inquiry that I explore in the book.
